With the ÖKOPROFIT seal, the city of Esslingen and the district of Esslingen recognise the continuous efforts of local companies in terms of climate protection and resource conservation.
In addition to Kölle Etiketten, 14 other local companies were honoured for their climate protection efforts in the Old Town Hall in Esslingen.

What is behind the ÖKOPROFIT project?
The ÖKOPROFIT project was launched by the city of Esslingen in 2000. It is based on the idea of sustainable management in harmony with ecology and economy.
In the ‘ÖKOPROFIT starter programme’, the companies work on all environmentally relevant topics such as water, energy and procurement, hazardous substances, waste and emission reduction, mobility and occupational safety as well as legal and organisational topics in eight joint workshops. All companies that have successfully completed the introductory round can continue the project in the ‘ECOPROFIT Club’. At the end of each ECOPROFIT round, the companies are certified and awarded the ECOPROFIT seal.
